I don't know where to begin...I know I have told you this before but I have to say it again...YOU ARE A PURE GENIUS!!! The way you captured our day was beyond our expectations!!! You made every moment of our wedding day come back to life! The way you caught my father and I will always be so special to both of us. Not only are you a fantastic photographer but you were one of us! Our wedding party cannot stop raving about how comfortable they felt working with you. Not only my wedding party, but it was impressive how well you and the videographer worked together and you never even met!!! I cannot thank you enough for making our wedding day so special and capturing our day! We'll see you when babies are on the way and many times after that, I hope!

We just wanted to thank you for being such a special part of our day as our photographer. Everyone raved about how great you were with taking the photographers in such a gentle way and in how great you were with the kids- Kiely and Clare loved dancing with you.

Let me first start by saying thank you. You are an absolutely amazing photographer. Our wedding pictures are so amazing that I can't even express it in words. Not only did you bring tears to my eyes, but also those of many family members, friends and even co-workers. Each time I watch the slideshow I feel like I am reliving the wedding all over again, even after the 30+ times I have watched it!

I knew after seeing Corinne's wedding pictures that I wanted you to be my photographer. You have such a great eye for those "little moments" that mean so much. Not only did you meet our expectations, but you also surpassed them. We could not have wished for anything better. I truly feel that you weren't just there as a photographer taking pictures, but rather a friend capturing the memories. Joel and I thank you for that!

	Jon, Beth and I wanted to take a moment to say…what can we say? Thank you is just not enough. From the moment we wondered onto your website we could not stop talking about “this photographer.” It seems like yesterday but it was over a year ago when we saw your work, witnessed your passion and decided we had to hire you for our wedding. We could not stop telling friends, family, and co-workers to check out your website and see “these amazing slideshows.” When we met you for the first time for the engagement shoot you quickly put us at ease and made even that unforgettable. Finally, the day of our wedding arrived and even though it has got to go down as the HOTTEST day of 2005, you handled the heat and all of us wonderfully. When we got back from our honeymoon we patiently (I couldn’t keep Beth off of the computer waiting for the slideshow to be released) waited for the slide show. Needless to say, it was…is tremendous. We must have watched it 10 times, easy. You truly have a talent for what you do. You have created for us, a beautiful time capsule of our day and for that we are forever thankful! Jon, There are very few moments in life that mean more than anything else. Our wedding was one of those moments and thanks to you they are preserved forever. When we started to plan our wedding the one thing we knew we needed to find was an amazing photographer, someone that knew what moments to capture and how to capture them. You accomplished that and a whole lot more. Looking back we can't imagine having had anyone else there to preserve those special moments for us. During the planning phase you were extra attentive to every detail of our wedding. We then had a great time and really enjoyed the engagement photos. At the wedding you seemed to be everywhere and nowhere all at the same time. All of our guests commented about how much fun you were and asked where we found you. To be honest we really looked at you as more of a guest, a friend, family, than a photographer. It really felt like we'd all been friends for a long time. Your style and personality made it so easy to interact with you and no one needed to put on a "fake smile" in any of the pictures. The slide show of our wedding brought tears to the eyes of most everyone who saw it. The pictures were beyond words and looked like they belonged on the wall of a New York City art gallery. Overall, it was an experience that we and everyone in attendance will never forget and that is due in no small way to your presence there. We truly are blessed that God has given you such talent. I’ve already watched the slideshow three times – and I just received the email about 15 minutes ago! Boy, we knew we had fun at the reception, but from the looks of your pictures, we had A LOT of fun! Dear Jon,

This letter is long overdue, but it has taken me several weeks to process the excitement and emotions surrounding our entire day. You spend your whole life looking for your soul mate, and the intense love and excitement that you feel on your wedding day is really only the beginning. Yet, somehow, when the dress comes off, the tux is returned, and the guests begin their journey home, you can't help but feel as if something is ending.

Seeing your photographs reminded me that, while our wedding is over, the love that we share has no end. We still look at each other in the same adoring manner, laugh just as often, and with every passing day we love each other more. This is because you did not just photograph our wedding, but us. Your relaxed and unobtrusive style enabled us do and be who we are. All we had to do was enjoy our day, our families, and each other. You were sure to be in the perfect spot capturing that perfect moment without anyone even knowing you were there. The bottom line is this: You captured every tender moment, sideways glance, gentle touch, and happy tear. The essence of our day and, more importantly, our love is preserved forever in the amazing photographs that you took, and we could not be more grateful.

So, Jon, thank you for sharing your talent and eye for beauty with us on our wedding day. Thank you for being everywhere and, somehow, nowhere. Thank you for making us feel at ease and for becoming our friend. Thank you for the gift of your art, and very individualized attention. Above all, thank you for seeking, finding, and preserving the most precious moments of our wedding day and for providing us with a constant visual reminder of the love that will last "'til death do us part."

Ethan and I just watched the slideshow no fewer than four times. It looks just awesome...such gorgeous photos. We knew from the start that we would end up with great shots, but just this selection is truly beyond my best expectations. It's always nice when someone makes you look good, but when they can bring you right back into those amazing moments, and capture everything you were feeling in a snapshot, those are the photos that take your breath away. We are so grateful for your hard work and your talent. Many of our family members and friends commented during the wedding and after the fact that you were a pleasure to have around, certainly a sentiment echoed by Ethan and myself. Wahoo! Awesome slideshow. That was the most wonderful way to relive our wedding day. Thank you so much. I am on the verge of tears. I cannot say how much your unique perspective on our day and your genuine "niceness" means to us. You are a true gem, and you should be extremely proud of your work. These pictures are seriously some of the best wedding pictures and best candid pictures of us I have ever seen. My mom loves the slideshow too! Hello Jon,

Well now that the dust has settled we thought we would drop you a line. Where do we begin?

It all started when Kate came home one day and said you have to check out this photographer online for our wedding. That is when Jon Butterick was born in our lives. The pictures took our breath away with how you captured the emotions and feelings of all, and very naturally I might say. Nothing seemed to be scripted. So the email was sent to see if you were available...this is who we wanted to do our pictures and be apart of our wedding. During the time of waiting, we appreciated the updates on what was happening in your life, from growing the biz to having a baby. In each of those letters you explained what everything meant to us and our special day.

About a month out it was time to meet; nice little coffee shop in Windsor, CT. Kate's mom had to share in this day because she was very curious on who you really were and we needed a ride- it gets expensive taking the ferry form Long Island to CT each week.

After that meeting we knew this was going to be great. Not only did you get to know who we were, but wanted to know a lot about our families which meant a lot to us... great job with the UCONN & golf for Kate's dad, and knowing the twins' names.

Then it was the day of our wedding and what can we say, everything was perfect. You were very unobtrusive and not a "typical" photographer- you wanted us to enjoy every aspect of our day, which we did, and you captured many unforgettable moments without the common "pose here, turn this way"... We enjoyed the formal shots that you did and loved the "moments" you caught on film. Jon, the pictures are absolutely breath taking and really capture the day and who we are. We truly enjoyed having you share in our wedding and are so pleased that we have these beautiful pictures for the rest of our lives. The slide show is amazing- I seriously think that Kate has looked at it at least once a day since we returned from our honeymoon! We also appreciate how fast you were able to put the proofs on line- our friends and family are really grateful. Oh yes, how can we forget... we love being on the different pages of your website.

Jon, thank you for providing Kate and I with the most wonderful pictures of our day- the memories and feelings will always remain due to your incredible work. Our friends, family, and obviously us, can not stop raving about you. Thank you again!
